A Quandary

A Quandary

Thanksgiving day is steadily on the approach and just a little closer than it was yesterday. There is a paramount consideration; sort of a quandary to be battered about in your mind, it’s nearly Thanksgiving again and what of it?

The serious question to pose to yourself is, am I? Thankful that is… thankful for my health, family, friends, food in my stomach and a roof over my head. Thankful for all the blessings of life, most of which I know that I don’t deserve. The fact is that the ThinkerBite for tonight is spot-on and courtesy of the Great~Jim Rohn; “Life is not designed to supply what you need, it’s designed to supply what you deserve” and what is it, all that life owes you or me: zero, nada, zip, nothing, period…

So when you consume your Thanksgiving day meal; while you feel full and comfortable, remember that many people in this world can’t afford even a meal for one reason or another; life was never billed as fair and it probably isn’t planning a reversal of design anytime soon..

Smile, say a little blessing on those who have not and be thankful for all you do have, if that won’t make you feel humble then not much in the plight of others will touch you anyway. May the Great God, source of all that is, was, or will be, bless you and yours.
