Choice : A Prescription For A New Year


Every New Year that passes is inundated with personal resolutions made by people who sincerely want a better life, for this year to be more than the last year was. Some of the common resolutions are : better health, a better body, better relationships or a better financial position – career.  Statistical information available says that approximately 98.8% of these commitments remain just whimsical thinking and are never seriously attempted, let alone accomplished. The Bite for tonight is: ” We make our choices and then our choices make us.” What we say and what we actually do are sometimes miles apart and the reason most New Years resolutions are wasted words, was that even though intentions were admirable, the action of choice was not.

The Bite is actually a prescription for a better way to live and not a “off the cuff” new years resolution. Creating a better life is NOT about brain-set, it’s about mindset. To think about what you could do to better your life is good stimulus for thought but applying action to the equation through choice is what makes thoughts come to life. Therefore, the choices we make will make us. It’s as always; “It’s All About The U In You” and you are what will make the changes that help you catch your dreams, if you choose to do so…….Better oil-up your chooser and get at it, don’t wait too long, you never know how long you’ve got.

Think it through, make a committment to your choice and begin to act on that choice right now to gain some real Positive changes for a change in 2018. You are what you choose to be.
